Main topics of the final thesis

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on one of the following topics:

Evaluation of possible areas of application and use cases for AI in the technical areas of the SCALTEL Group
Data preparation, analysis and collection
Evaluation and selection of machine learning models and tools
Development of solution approaches for the selected use cases
Selection of suitable machine learning models
Integration of tools / project implementation for use in the company

Your profile:

Study in the field of computer science, business informatics or a related field
Focus on machine learning, data science, technical innovation and product management, systems engineering, information systems technology, artificial intelligence or similar
Knowledge of machine learning is an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
Structured and goal-oriented way of working
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in German, at least C1)
Your place of residence is within 1.5 hours of Kempten or Mainz-Kastel
A two-week training course in Kempten is no problem for you
You enjoy working in a team on site and occasionally remotely from home
