Associate Web Developer

We are looking for an Associate Web Developer to support the digital side of our commercial advisory work. Our partner is a Berlin based entity involved in long term investment projects, and this role will focus on building the tools that help us present complex data to their leadership. As a remote member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital interfaces are clear, functional, and capable of supporting high level commercial decisions. This is an entry level position designed for someone who is technically capable and curious about how business deals are structured in the real world.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain internal web tools that allow our advisors to model different investment scenarios and partnership structures.


• Build and refine responsive web interfaces that present commercial research to our clients and their counterparties.


• Assist in the creation of secure digital environments for the exchange of sensitive documents during negotiations with sovereign entities.


• Collaborate directly with senior partners to translate complex commercial judgment into functional data visualization tools.


• Ensure that all digital assets perform reliably across different systems and browsers used by executives in the territory.


• Write clean and maintainable code that prioritizes clarity and utility over unnecessary technical complexity.


• Participate in regular remote syncs to update the team on project progress and technical hurdles.


• Help manage the firm's internal databases to ensure that ground reality data is easily accessible for ongoing research.

What you bring

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a portfolio of personal projects or coursework that demonstrates these skills.


• A strong interest in commerce and a desire to understand the logic behind high stakes investment decisions.


• The ability to explain technical concepts to non technical team members in a clear and direct manner.


• High attention to detail, particularly when managing data that will be used to support capital deployment advice.


• Self discipline and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment without constant supervision.


• A logical approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn new technologies as the requirements of our engagements evolve.


• Experience with version control tools like Git to manage code changes within a distributed team.


• A focus on producing results that are practical and actionable for the firm and its clients.
