Engineering Manager AI (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• You cooperate closely with product and tech leadership in your team to scope solutions, plan roadmaps for delivery and balancing resources and priorities.
• You lead a diverse team of engineers across AI and Data by example with hands-on engineering contributions.
• You build and maintain a culture of excellence, establishing and maintaining team standards that ensure code quality, fast and iterative delivery and a shared sense of ownership for achieving team goals.
• You foster a culture of growth and psychological safety, providing reviews, feedback and mentoring for your team members.
  
  

Your Profile

• At least 4 years hands-on experience in AI (NLP preferred), Data Science or Data Engineering.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring groups of individual contributors.
• Strong technical background and deep understanding of software development best practices.
• Proven experience in implementing and driving Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, within engineering teams.
• Very strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A pro-active, results-oriented mindset.
• A team player mentality and the ability to mentor more junior colleagues.
• Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus.
