Software Support Developer

Our client, a leading multinational information technology services company is recruiting for a Software Engineer to join their business in Spain. Position Title: Software Engineer Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote (Spain) Contact: Join a major international initiative focused on incorporating new needs (a brand-new Equities & Equity Swap module) into the Calypso v17+ platform. Build custom Java (Spring Boot) solutions to support the new module and integrate with back office components and interfaces. Manage data mappings, messaging flows, system-to-system communications, and integration with external services and middleware. Collaborate with international product providers, business teams, and IT stakeholders to align module features with operational needs. Requeriments: At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Calypso, specifically version 16 or newer. Knowledge of fixed income is an asset. Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience. Solid working skills with Linux, SQL, Git, and system integration stacks. Proven communication capability in English, engaging with global teams and technical stakeholders. B2-C1 - English level. No accreditation is required, but it is necessary to be able to communicate. Expertise in version upgrade projects from earlier to Calypso v16+ Experience configuring or building Calypso APIs, custom engines, and reporting frameworks. Functional knowledge is a plus, although it is not a requirement.
