We’re looking for an AI Engineer and team lead to join our dedicated AI team. You’ll play a key role in shaping how AI enhances Pitch’s core product - from smart content suggestions and automated design assistance to new, intelligent workflows that make presentation creation effortless. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across the company to bring innovative AI features to life. You’ll work across the stack, integrating AI systems into Pitch’s Clojure- and ClojureScript-based architecture.
Lead by example: guide and support the AI team, balancing innovation with delivery, and ensuring clear alignment across disciplines.
Leadership capability: able to coordinate projects, manage scope and priorities, and communicate progress to stakeholders. If you have functional programming experience in languages like F#, Lisp, Haskell etc. - Familiarity with APIs and frameworks such as OpenAI, Claude, Fal, etc.
Experience with prompt engineering, model evaluation, and iterative experimentation.
Familiarity with building AI-powered user experiences in web applications.
Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or prior work with presentation, productivity, or design tools.
