Responsibilities
Own custom solution development end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and validation.
Build customer-facing interfaces with React and TypeScript, backend services, and integrations with Staffbase and third-party APIs.
Partner with customers, consultants, and internal teams to define use cases, gather feedback, and refine solutions.
Mentor mid-level engineers and establish engineering standards, processes, and good practices for a newly formed team.
Participate in code reviews, produce well-tested code, and automate development and delivery workflows.
Requirements
Typically 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience, including ownership of solutions from concept to delivery.
Strong frontend skills with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, plus backend experience with Kotlin, Java, or Node.js.
Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs and integrating external systems.
Experience mentoring or guiding less-experienced developers and bringing structure to team practices.
Ability to work directly with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong focus on quality, clean code, testing, continuous learning, and collaboration.
Fluent written and spoken English and German are required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Go, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, professional services or consulting, custom customer-facing solutions, SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and REST or microservices architecture.
