Data Scientist / Data Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Data Scientist at mama health , you’ll sit at the center of our data engine. Working closely with our Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and the Data Science team, you’ll turn raw patient stories into actionable insights that power our B2B SaaS Analytics Platform.

You’ll tackle meaningful questions across health data , patient journeys , and real-world evidence , building models and analyses that help healthcare companies improve chronic care. You’ll also work directly with renowned global clients , giving your work immediate visibility and worldwide impact.

Work hand-in-hand with the Chief AI Officer to develop, validate, and scale algorithms for our Patient Journey Analytics Platform.

Collaborate with engineers and product managers to turn data insights into user-facing features for our B2B SaaS tool.

Design and implement pipelines for data cleaning, feature engineering, and predictive modeling.

3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (preferably in healthtech, SaaS, or related fields).

• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar ML libraries).
• Strong skills in SQL and experience working with structured/unstructured data.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Reside and be legally authorized to work in Italy (remote)
• Experience with real-world health data (e.g., Knowledge of NLP and LLM agents.
