UI Developer - React (m/w/d)
BARFER'S
At BARFER’S Wellfood , we develop and produce premium dog and cat food based on the BARF principle (Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding).
In our own Berlin-based manufactory , we create over 280 products , which we sell through our online shop , eight stores in Berlin, Potsdam, and Hamburg , as well as through selected B2B partners .
We are revolutionizing the pet food industry – our mission is to ensure that every dog and cat is fed in a species-appropriate way !
We’re looking for a Mid React Native Developer to join our product engineering team and help build world-class mobile e-commerce experiences. You’ll take ownership of app development from architecture to deployment, collaborating closely with design, backend, and data teams to deliver scalable, performant, and customer-focused mobile products.
You’ll play a key role in shaping our Shopify-integrated mobile ecosystem , improving app performance, and driving innovation in how users interact with our online store. Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and the data team to ensure seamless and data-driven customer journeys.
Experience: 3–6+ years of professional software development, with 2+ years in React Native and experience building Shopify-integrated mobile apps or E-Commerce platforms .
React / React Native core concepts (Hooks, Context API, Navigation, etc.)
TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Unit and E2E testing (Jest, Detox, etc.)
Bonus Skills:
Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java)
Team player who helps create a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment
Product-oriented thinking with attention to UX and conversion optimization
